Chris Bianchet
Hi! I'm Chris Bianchet, a security engineer and red teamer with a background that spans software development, site reliability engineering, and offensive security.
I began my career as a software engineer, where an early interest in cybersecurity gradually grew into a central focus of my work. That passion eventually led me to earn the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and transition into penetration testing and red teaming, where I combine deep engineering knowledge with an attacker's mindset to identify and exploit real-world vulnerabilities. Along the way, I've also had the opportunity to contribute to projects with meaningful social impact, including work on Seeing AI, a mobile application for the visually impaired, and Luna.AI, a chatbot designed to assist refugees.
Over the course of my career I've worked with leading technology organizations such as Microsoft and Google, building large-scale systems and later helping break them through red team operations and security assessments. Today, as a senior security software engineer on Microsoft's M365 and MSec red team, I lead offensive engagements against cloud and AI services, uncovering vulnerabilities and driving remediation at scale. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Washington while continuing to sharpen my offensive security skills and build technology that makes both systems, and society, more secure.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports like tennis and volleyball, traveling the world, and reading sci-fi + fantasy books.
